Mental strategies

September5

Last week our community SGK learnt about mental strategies , mental strategies are sums you work out in your mind.

We learnt that most people have their own way to use their mind and to figure out a particular sum.Mental  strategies are mainly worked out when you have to estimate a problem without writing it down.
Can you give me an example of a mathematical sum you worked out in your mind?
