Here is a wonderful opportunity for students to write a short story and win two adult and two child airfares flying Qatar Airways to any location in Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East or Africa.  The following information is from the Melbourne Writers Festival website:

Your story could WIN your family the trip of a lifetime!

If you’re a Victorian student in Year 4, 5 or 6, you and your family could be flying off on a big adventure! Create a story in 300 words and you could WIN four airline tickets to a QATAR Airways destination of your choice ! Simply create an amazing story that includes the following four words:

FLYING                   ADVENTURE                    MAP                               FEAST

The winning entrant will win two adult and two child airfares to a Qatar Airways destination. Choose from destinations including London, New York, Athens and more courtesy of Qatar Airways.

How to Enter

  1. Write a 300 word story.
  2. Make sure you include all the following words: travel; adventure; map; feast.
  3. Submit your entry by completing the online form uploading your story on the Melbourne Writers Festival website.

Entries close 5pm on Monday 19 August 2013.

The winners and finalists will be awarded at the Melbourne Writers Festival session The Tales from Many Lands on Thursday 29 August at 11.15 am at The Deakin Edge, Federation Square.

The Terms and Conditions are important as you will need permission from your parents to enter.
